Saint Louis Science Center Exhibition Hall Expansion

Bookmark and Share

The Saint Louis Science Center broke ground on a new exhibition hall in July 2010. The 13,000 square foot addition will provide a needed venue to better accommodate traveling exhibitions like BODY WORLDS and Real Pirates, and events like SciFest and Eco Expo.

The hall, scheduled to open in the summer of 2011, will connect to the east side of the Science Center, just south of its main entrance, and will replace the air-supported EXPLORADOME.

In addition to the benefit of a permanent structure, the new hall will provide 12,000 square feet of permanent exhibit space to the Science Center campus. The project also includes a distinctive rooftop terrace, which will provide a unique setting for outdoor exhibits, educational programs and special events.
