Registration for Boy Scout Days is Open!

On Saturday Feb. 25 and Sunday Feb. 26, we will celebrate scouting in science style with two full days of programs and discounts just for Scouts! Scout Days are open to scouts from any council and/or district. All are welcome. Call 314-289-4424 or 1-800-456-SLSC, x4424 to register.

Over the course of the weekend we will do hands-on workshops for Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Participate in any workshop and receive a souvenir patch set. Activity patches are not available at the Science Center. All scouts will receive a souvenir participation patch and a 2012 rocker segment. Scouts who have already received the souvenir patch from a previous Scout Days will get the 2012 rocker segment.

Free chaperones must attend the workshops at a ratio of one for every five children, but do not need to register. Additional chaperones may be asked to leave the classroom if space is at a premium.

Scouts in uniform can receive additional discounts on OMNIMAX, James S. McDonnell Planetarium and Discovery Room tickets.

Girl Scouts are welcome too! Girl Scouts who wear their scouting uniform are also eligible for special discounts during this scout weekend! And mark your calendars. Girl Scout Days are March 10 and 11!

• $8 per scout for Cub Scout workshops($7 for SLSC members)
• $12 per scout for Boy Scout workshops($11 for SLSC members)
• Check-in on lower level at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your program
• Parking is $10 at the main lot. Pick up your $5 parking coupon at check-in
• Scouts in uniform are eligible for discounts on OMNIMAX, Planetarium and Discovery Room tickets

Registration for both days closes on Feb. 22.
