Come and meet the axolotls in the Life Science Lab, and watch them develop from eggs to beautiful, gilled salamanders! Axolotls (aka "Mexican Walking Fish" or Ambystoma mexicanum) are endangered in the wild, but are popular laboratory organisms. They are beautiful creatures with fascinating regenerative qualities. You can watch the axolotls develop via the speckFINDER HD(r), generously donated to the Science Center by Dazor Manufacturing Corp. Come visit them soon and often--they change daily!

Put Your Finger On It - examine your fingerprints and discover details in fingerprints that investigators use in solving crimes
Seeing Cells - see your very own cheek cells under a microscope
Be a Crime Scene Investigator - solve a crime using chromatography
