DINOSAURS IN MOTION is an amazing blend of science, art and innovation using magnificent, anatomically inspired, recycled life-size metal dinosaur sculptures to engage and educate. Throughout the exhibition, follow artist John Payne’s process, from sketches to sculptures, and discover how he used his talent to create these pieces of interactive art that capture the imagination!
The kinetic life-size sculptures in DINOSAURS IN MOTION reveal art, science and innovation with steel skeletons and exposed mechanics like you’ve never seen before! The most interactive dinosaur exhibition to ever tour engages with:
Art: Sketch, draw and sculpt to explore your inner creativity!
Science: Learn kinetics, biomechanics and robotics while moving the dinosaurs with pulleys, levers and remote controls!
Innovation: Observe and experiment with your own prehistoric, recycled creations!

On certain dates and times, the Science Center will offer Low Sensory Days in the DINOSAURS IN MOTION exhibition. During these times, the exhibition will have regular room lighting (not theatrical or strobe lighting) and the sounds on all videos and the dinosaurs will be off or very low. Please note, the dinosaurs in the exhibition make noise just from their movement, so the exhibition cannot be completely quiet. Those buying tickets at these times will be alerted to the exhibition conditions.
