Come to the James S. McDonnell Planetarium on Saturday, July 20, to help us celebrate the 44th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing. The St. Louis Rocketry Association will be on site to help visitors build small scale rockets and, weather permitting, launch them that afternoon! At 2pm, join us for "Can the Moon Save the Earth", a free presentation by former Planetarium Director and Secretary of the X PRIZE Foundation, Gregg Maryniak. How can we use the resources on the Moon to help solve many issues here on Earth? Come find out! This event is part of the McDonnell Planetarium's 50th Anniversary Celebration. This is a free event.
To the Moon!
