Looking southeast tonight around 8:30 pm, you will find the longest constellation of all:  Eridanus. This constellation is supposed to be the river that Phaeton fell into after failing to successfully drive the Sun across the sky. This constellation begins near the bright star in Orion named Rigel and extends south below our visual horizon.
