You can join in a citizen science project to help track light pollution in your neighborhood.  In May, look west about 10pm, and you’ll see a group of stars that looks like a backward question mark.  That’s part of the constellation Leo the Lion. Compare your view of Leo to charts shown at the Globe at Night website here. Finally, report the number of stars you see that closely matches one of the star charts on the website. Doing this will help scientists measure light pollution in your area!
