Astronomy Fact of the Day: November 18, 2020

The Hyades star cluster has the shape of the letter V. The brightest star in the V is Aldebaran. The small dipper-shaped Pleiades star cluster is nearby.

Looking east at 7 pm you will find a small V-shaped group of stars. This group is the star cluster named the Hyades; they also represent the nose of Taurus the Bull.
