On this date in 1968, NASA completed all recommended changes to Apollo 7 as a result of the 1967 Apollo 1 fire. These changes, issued by the Apollo Crew Safety Review Board (ACSRB), meant that the program could again move forward toward the goal of a manned landing on the Moon before 1970. NASA records of the proceedings from the ACSRB may be found at NASA’s repository here.
