Tonight at 11:46pm, the Moon and Mars will be in conjunction. A conjunction is when two or more celestial objects share the same right ascension. More simply stated they will appear close together. In fact, the pair will be separated by a mere 1 arc minute. Through a telescope, they will be close enough to be seen together in the same field of view. Learn more at the website In-The-Sky.org here.
