About Taylor Center

The Taylor Center, which opened in 2003, is a state-of-the-art, 69,000-square-foot facility at 4900 Manchester. It houses several classrooms and multipurpose rooms that can be used for after-school programming, professional development for educators, community-wide and family programming, and more.

The Taylor Center provides a space for hands-on science activities, as well as technology access to disenfranchised audiences. It also houses the Science Center’s extensive natural history and science collection, as well as an expanded resource library to help teachers strengthen their curricula and connect with recent science and technology discoveries.
