This Give STL Day, show your support for the Science Center and help power science learning in the St. Louis region.
Science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics—often referred to as STEAM—plays an important role in every aspect of our daily lives. It helps us better understand our world, and it helps us build a brighter future together.
The Saint Louis Science Center provides a place where everyone in our community can discover a passion for STEAM, empowering the curious minds of today to better understand how science impacts our world and become the innovators, researchers, scientists and STEAM-skilled workers of tomorrow.
What is Give STL Day?
Give STL Day is an online charitable giving event bringing the St. Louis community together to celebrate the vital work of area nonprofits and underscoring the importance of charitable giving.
When can I give?
You can make a gift on Give STL Day on Thursday, May 6, 2021. Or, make a gift during Early Giving starting Monday, April 5, and have it counted on Give STL Day.
How much can I give?
Give STL Day’s minimum donation is $10. The maximum is $100,000. No gift is too small to make an impact.
Your support makes big things possible.
Gifts to the Science Center for Give STL Day support everything from our building’s daily operation to the programs and outreach efforts driving our mission to ignite and sustain lifelong science and technology learning.
Donations also enable our educators to develop new in-person and digital experiences that bring the St. Louis community closer to science. From fun and accessible STEAM galleries like GROW and GameXPloration to important community programs like SciFest and First Friday, where people of all ages and backgrounds can meet and learn from real STEAM professionals, they’re all made possible thanks to the support of people just like you.
Gifts support the Science Center’s Annual Fund for the programs and experiences above, as well as the Science Center’s Youth Exploring Science (YES) Program.
For over twenty years, YES has help provide under-resourced teens from the St. Louis community a path to prepare for college and gain career skills important for successful futures in STEAM. Over 90% of graduating YES Teens go on to college, the military or trade schools, and many become scientists, healthcare professionals, community leaders and more.
