  • SCIENCE CENTER ENTRANCE (circle drive)
    • Get a close up look at a fire engine and emergency equipment, and learn more about disaster preparedness from the St. Louis Fire Department
  • INSIDE
    • Take home some quake sand, and find out more about the largest earthquakes to hit the U.S. east of the Rocky Mountains with New Madrid Historical Museum
    • Check out a volcano activity and terrestrial and extraterrestrial rock and mineral samples with Washington University in St. Louis Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences
    • Learn something new about how to be prepared for natural disasters and emergencies with St. Louis County/St. Louis City Health Departments
    • Take a closer look at earthquake response and recovery with Missouri State Emergency Management Agency
    • Design and build your own disaster-proof structures with American Society of Civil Engineers
    • Participate in an interactive seismic liquefaction demonstration with National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency

  • See what it looks like to be in an earthquake, and do a supercomputer simulation with Southern California Earthquake Center
