Current Bid Opportunities

Whenever feasible and appropriate, the Science Center will post bid opportunities on this page. We have two areas of bid opportunities: general, which includes goods and services for the day-to-day operations of the Science Center, and facilities, which includes improvements to the Science Center’s building and physical grounds.


The Saint Louis Science Center (Science Center, SLSC) is requesting proposals from consulting vendors to assist the Science Center with a technology assessment and technology/business alignment project.


Submit your proposal and attachments in a sealed envelope plus one electronic copy to the address below by 5:00 pm CST on October 5, 2018. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered.

The Saint Louis Science Center seeks proposals from qualified Planetarium and Educational vendor supply companies for the purchase of a portable planetarium for on-site and off-site programming with school and public audiences. Proposals that include details for a portable dome, projector, training opportunities, and software options will be reviewed.


All proposal submissions must be submitted via e-mail to the Associate Director of Student and
Teacher Programs. Title all e-mail submissions SLSC Portable Planetarium: your business name.

The Saint Louis Science Center benefits from community support with the help of the Metropolitan Zoological Park and Museum District. The Science Center appreciates such support and works to maintain a shared relationship by contracting with qualified businesses throughout St. Louis and St. Louis County as often as possible.
