March 16, 2018 at 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Soldiers from Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri National Guard, and Army Reserve will be at the St. Louis Science Center for one day to inform the community about their Army and give them an opportunity to get hands-on with a variety of military equipment. Showcased at the Saint Louis Science Center will be a Blackhawk Helicopter, an infantry mobility vehicle, Individual Reality Trainer, Military Police K-9 Unit, and much more.

The event is open to the public and will be attended by Major General Kent Savre, commanding general, Maneuver Support Center of Excellence, Ft. Leonard Wood, MO., and National Guard Brigadier General David Boyle, director, joint staff, Jefferson City, MO.

Both general officers will be available for interviews at the Saint Louis Science Center beginning at 10am.

Meet Your Army is an effort to connect the American people with their Army, educate them about their Army, and build trust and confidence in our force. The program does so by sending Army leaders and Soldiers to engage communities where the Army has little or no presence.
