A Brooklyn plumber named Mario travels through the Mushroom Kingdom with a princess named Peach and an anthropomorphic mushroom named Toad to find Mario’s brother, Luigi, and to save the world from a ruthless fire-breathing Koopa named Bowser. Lets-a go!
The Super Mario Bros. Movie was directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic (collaborators on Teen Titans Go!, Teen Titans Go! To the Movies) from a screenplay by Matthew Fogel (The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, Minions: The Rise of Gru). The film stars Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike.

Use your feet to play Mario on a giant controller in GameXPloration! This 7,500-square-foot exhibit features a multitude of experiences that explore how games intersect with our lives and what they reveal to us about psychology, neuroscience and technology. Five worlds with different themes take visitors through the evolution of games and gaming, from board games to virtual reality.

The main hero of the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario is always bright and cheerful and instantly recognizable with his blue overalls, red cap, and trademark moustache.
Created by Japanese video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto, Luigi is portrayed as the younger fraternal twin brother and sidekick of Mario.
The Mushroom Kingdom’s biggest helper is kind of small. Mario’s loyal friend Toad has one of the friendliest faces in the Mushroom Kingdom.
The beloved princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. She’s extremely kind and is always working to create a world where everyone can live together happily.
Donkey Kong is a large, powerful, muscular ape in appearance with a red tie that sports his initials.
Bowser’s defining traits are his monstrous appearance with dragon-like elements, full-throated roar, fire-breathing abilities and tyrannical personality.

OMNIMAX Theater films take place in the OMNIMAX Theater on the 2nd floor of the main 5050 Oakland Building. Access is available through the main entrance, then the stairs in the main lobby to the second floor.
