In 2019, the Saint Louis Science Center renovated the OMNIMAX® Theater. In this time-lapse video, you can watch as the projection booth is transformed. The old 70mm film projector is removed and the new IMAX® with Laser projector is installed.
The OMNIMAX theater was closed from August to November 2019 while this work was done.
