IGB World of Genomics Coming Soon!
Institute of Genomic Biology(IGB), World of Genomics and the Saint Louis Science Center are offering a free field trip opportunity for five schools. One bus for each school will be provided for transportation. Each school may bring a maximum of 50 participants. The exhibition is recommended for the Middle School and High School level.
One of the IGB’s most successful and comprehensive public engagement events, the World of Genomics, will be showcased for three days at the Saint Louis Science Center from October 18-20, 2018. On Friday, October 19 we are inviting school groups to attend this special event!
The World of Genomics will feature six interactive learning stations. At these stations, volunteers from dozens of scientific fields will highlight hands-on activities and interactive demonstrations that describe the deep portfolio of IGB research in easy to understand terms.
Spanning a breadth of research in health, technology, and environment, students will be able to enjoy the following stops within the St. Louis Science Center:
- Tree of Life
- Brains and Behavior
