In this virtual member event, the Science Center’s Collections Manager, Kristina Hampton, showcases items from our Collections focusing on the important role of women in science.
Women have made significant contributions to science for centuries, although they are often overlooked or relatively unknown. Many women have pioneered the way and made major advancements in fields like natural science, paleontology, technology, and aerospace, as well as numerous others. Learn more about some of these remarkable women pioneers and see objects celebrating their contributions to science.
