The Sky Tonight has been offered at the McDonnell Planetarium in various forms since we opened in 1963, but The (New) Sky Tonight allows you to travel deeper into space than ever before! No longer limited to only the sky as viewed from Earth, full-dome visuals will transport you to the rings of Saturn, the Andromeda Galaxy, distant exoplanets, and beyond.

Whether you are just starting to learn about the night sky or have been studying the stars for decades, The (New) Sky Tonight invites audiences to reconnect with the stars, stories, and science visible overhead each night in our region.
