Dive into an ocean of discovery this summer as the Saint Louis Science Center welcomes a breathtaking new special exhibition, The Blue Whale Story. Opening May 23, 2026, this exciting experience brings you face-to-face with the largest marine mammal to have ever lived on Earth. At the heart of the exhibition is “Blue,” a stunning, life-sized 80-foot replica of a real female blue whale skeleton, allowing you to stand in the shadow of an ocean giant and grasp its incredible scale. The exhibition is rooted in real science. Through a full-scale heart model, an interactive “License to Krill” survival game, and much more, visitors of all ages will discover the wonder of these gentle giants and learn why protecting them is essential for a healthy ocean. Tickets are on sale now, so don’t miss your chance to get up close with the ocean’s most magnificent creature.
