The Official Social Media Guidelines of the Saint Louis Science Center

The Saint Louis Science Center envisions an equitable and inclusive society where people are passionate about science and use it to improve lives, transform communities, and empower future generations. As a science-based organization, we appreciate that it takes diverse voices to make the groundbreaking discoveries of the future. STEM is for all, and the Science Center has space for everyone.

Whether in our museum, out in the community or through our social media accounts, the Science Center is dedicated to creating experiences and opportunities where everyone can explore together about STEM and our community.

We understand that perspectives vary and welcome diverse viewpoints, but we expect exchanges to remain civil and on topic. To ensure conversations that are productive and inclusive, the Science Center requires all interactions through our social media channels to be respectful and appropriate for all ages.

About the Saint Louis Science Center
The mission of the Saint Louis Science Center is to inspire everyone to be curious and engaged in science. Named a Smithsonian Institution Affiliate in 2016, the award-winning Science Center engages guests through on-site experiences, including hundreds of hands-on exhibits, the OMNIMAX® Theater, which is one of just nine IMAX® Dome with Laser theaters in the world, and the James S. McDonnell Planetarium featuring the largest artificial sky in the Western Hemisphere. Additionally, the organization provides informal educational programming to schools and other organizations in the St. Louis community and is home to the nationally recognized Youth Exploring Science (YES) program, which works with underserved teens throughout their high school years to prepare them for in-demand STEM careers.
