
Saint Louis Science Center in Running for National Awards
USA Today Nominates the Institution for its 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards in Several Categories
ST. LOUIS, MO – January 12, 2026
The Saint Louis Science Center is honored to announce that the editors and panel of experts from USA Today have once again nominated the distinguished institution for their 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards in the following categories:
- Best FREE Museum
- Best Planetarium
- Best Science Museum
As St. Louisans may remember, the Science Center has finished among the top five in these 10Best Awards over the past several years, including 2025 when it placed #1 as Best Planetarium, #2 as Best Free Museum and #5 as Best Science Museum. In addition to the USA Today recognition, the Science Center was also named the Best Free Museum by Newsweek last year.
Voting for USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards is NOW LIVE through 11 a.m. (Central) on Feb. 9. Supporters can vote one time each day in each category on each of their devices. To help the Science Center reach #1 in all categories, vote at www.slsc.org/10best.
