“BMW is proud to work alongside the Saint Louis Science Center and Ameren Missouri in showcasing our shared commitment to innovation and electrification,” said BMW Central Region Vice President Broderick McKinney. “This unique test drive experience introduces and reinforces electric mobility in addition to showcasing the wide range of electrified BMW vehicles designed to suit various lifestyles and needs.”
Prior to the EV Experience weekend, Ameren Missouri will host an online EV 101 session for registered individuals. The one-hour presentation will introduce various types of electronic vehicles available, offer tips on charging vehicles in your home and around the community, and discuss ways to earn incentives for owning one of these vehicles. After the presentation, Ameren Missouri’s EV Expert will be available to answer audience questions. Two presentations are offered at noon and 6 p.m. on March 18.
“Ameren Missouri is excited to partner with the Saint Louis Science Center and BMW so that we can continue raising awareness about electric vehicles and charging within the communities we serve,” said Ameren Missouri Business Development Manager Becky Whitman. “EVs are still a new technology to most people, and this event gives attendees an opportunity to experience them firsthand. They can also learn more about charging at home, charging on the go, and how an EV might fit into their lifestyle.”
