Today at 4 pm, the Moon will pass 1.2° south of Jupiter. While it will be possible to see a thin crescent Moon at this time, the closest pass occurs during the day, and Jupiter will not be visible. It is however possible to see the Moon and Jupiter near each other tonight at 6:30pm in the west-southwestern sky. Venus will also be visible at this time.

The west-southwestern sky as it will appear tonight at 6:30 pm. Jupiter and Venus both appear in the constellation Pisces the Fish, while the Moon is in Cetus. Star map created using Stellarium
