Today the Moon reached last quarter phase. This means the Moon rise after midnight tonight. Each day for the next week we will see thinner waning crescent phases each day as the Moon completes another synodic cycle on January 21, 2023. Unfortunately, this means the Moon will rise later each morning until it reaches new moon.
