Full moon occurs today around 12:30 pm. For some of the world a penumbral lunar eclipse will occur, but it will not be seen in North America. The next lunar eclipse visible from St. Louis will not be until 2024. Next year, offers us a penumbral lunar eclipse on March 24/25, 2024, and a partial lunar eclipse on September 17/18, 2024.
