This event is INVITE ONLY and NOT open to the public. However, it is available for the public to watch for FREE through the Saint Louis Science Center’s Twitch channel, along with the NSGN channel and the Extra Life Channel.

The Saint Louis Science Center will play host to Children’s Miracle Network and Extra Life for two high school competitions focused on raising money for families in need. Eight St. Louis High School teams will compete in Smash Crew Battles on our Energy Stage, while another eight St. Louis High School teams battle to be crowned the 2024 Extra Life Valorant champions.

The Extra Life community fundraises year-round to Change Kids’ Health to Change the Future. Donations go to local member hospitals to fund critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, along with innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, and child life services.

Since its inception in 2008, Extra Life has raised over $110 million USD to Change Kids’ Health to Change the Future. Right now, children’s hospitals need YOUR support. The Extra Life community fundraises year-round to Change Kids’ Health to Change the Future. Donations go to local member hospitals to fund critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, along with innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, and child life services.

Smash will occur on the Energy Stage starting at 1:00 PM. Valorant will occur in Boeing North starting at 10:00 AM.

Tentative schedule (schedule is subject to change):
9:30 AM – Science Center Opens
10:00 AM – Valorant Semis Start in Boeing Hall North
12:30 PM – Valorant Semis Complete
12:45 PM – Children’s Miracle Network Family Presentation on Energy Stage
1:15 PM – Smash Crews Start on Energy Stage
1:30 PM – Valorant 3rd Place Match Begins in Boeing North
2:00 PM – Valorant 1st Place Match Begins in Boeing North
4:30 PM – Valorant Event Concludes
5:15 PM – Smash Event Concludes
5:30 PM – Science Center Closes

Local students who are part of The Missouri Scholastic Esports Federation (MOSEF) — are uniting for one cause, to save and improve the lives of sick and injured kids treated at St. Louis Children’s Hospital and SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. Extra Life, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising program, provides game-loving locals a fun way to support the youngest patients in our community.
