  • The sequel was aprroved after Dune: Part One topped the box office on its opening weekend making the movie Warner’s top-performing opener of 2021.
  • Christopher Walken plays Emperor Shaddam IV. Coincidentally, Walken starred in the 2001 music video for the Fatboy Slim song “Weapon of Choice”, a song which includes several references to Dune.
  • Elizabeth Debicki, Eva Green, Amy Adams, Natalie Dormer, Olivia Taylor Dudley, and Gwyneth Paltrow were considered for the role of Lady Margot Fenring before Léa Seydoux was cast.
  • This is the second Warner Bros. film in the year to be shot taller 1.90:1 IMAX aspect ratio after The Flash (2023).

Location

OMNIMAX Theater films take place in the OMNIMAX Theater on the 2nd floor of the main 5050 Oakland Building. Access is available through the main entrance, then the stairs in the main lobby to the second floor.

Convenient wheelchair accessible seating for the OMNIMAX is available via the third floor theater entrance. Elevators and ramps serve all public areas of the OMNIMAX.

OMNIMAX offers hearing assistance that is not available in any theater in the region. This includes new adjustable caption devices, new hearing assistance devices with Descriptive Video Services(DVS) and Telecoil.
