River Otter, Native to North America

This furry animal is the northern river otter, a semi-aquatic mammal that lives in freshwater and coastal marine habitats. They are excellent swimmers and divers and can stay underwater for up to 8 minutes! These otters do spend two-thirds of their life on land, and are fast runners, able to run up to about 18 miles per hour.
