Support from our philanthropic partners helps sustain the Science Center’s open, accessible STEAM education exhibits, events, and programs, connecting hundreds of thousands of people each year with science and technology learning both at the Science Center and across the St. Louis community.
This year, the Science Center has welcomed more than 351,000 people of all ages to connect with curiosity thanks to the generosity of our philanthropic partners, members, and St. Louis community.
Opportunities for accessible, hands-on STEAM experiences help people of all ages develop a better understanding of how science impacts our world. Plus, STEAM fosters critical thinking and inclusive learning, empowering the next generation of leaders and STEAM professionals to use creativity and collaboration to solve real world challenges in areas like healthcare, agriculture, climate change, and more.
From open STEAM galleries like GROW and GameXPloration, events like SciFest and First Friday and free STEAM Demonstrations at Energy Stage to the Science Center’s daily operation, supporters like you make aha moments for everyone possible.
Support also helps sustain our nationally recognized Youth Exploring Science (YES) Program. For more than 24 years, the Science Center’s YES Program has prepared up to 200 teens each year from underserved St. Louis neighborhoods for the in-demand STEAM careers of the future, including those right here in St. Louis, providing college and career readiness training through their four years of high school.
