Texas-horned Lizard, Native to south-central US and northern Mexico.

Although also known as the Horny Toad because of its wide, flattened body, the Texas horned lizard is not an amphibian, but a reptile with scales and claws. It has some amazing defenses besides two prominent horns on its skull. Its coloring helps it blend in with its surroundings, it can inflate itself to a larger apparent size, and it can shoot a stream of blood from its eyelid! You do NOT want to mess with this lizard!
