For more than 25 years, the Saint Louis Science Center has been committed to igniting and sustaining lifelong science and technology learning for our region in an effort to connect people of all ages with science. In 2010, we embarked on the Bridge to the Future campaign to support new and renewed facilities, exhibits and expanded education programs supporting science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

We have raised $53 million of our $55 million dollar goal thanks to the support of you, our generous donors, members and partners throughout the community. The Campaign has funded over 110,000 square feet of new space and 64,000 square feet of newly created and renovated exhibits. This includes GROW, our largest permanent expansion in 20 years, that showcases how we grow, harvest, process and deliver food. We have expanded our STEM education programs to ensure our region is prepared to lead in a global economy driven by science and technology.

Your tax-deductible gift will help us achieve our $55 million dollar goal. Additionally, a long-time supporter of the Science Center has generously offered to match every new donation, dollar for dollar, up to one million dollars. You can help open every mind to science!

General unrestricted support is vital to the financial stability of the Saint Louis Science Center.  It provides necessary cash reserves to cover such things as free traveling exhibits, youth and adult programs, gallery content, design and creative services and many others.

If you make a donation of $250 or more, you will receive a complimentary Saint Louis Science Center tote bag!

The Youth Exploring Science (YES) program works with 250 at risk teenagers throughout the course of their high school career, providing them with an inquiry-based learning environment that focuses on science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

These teens create their own projects centered around STEM subjects in a fun and informal environment. Also, as a part of the program, teens gain professional, academic and real world skills that assist in building self confidence and personal success.

YES teens are recruited from community-based organizations who are committed to serving low-income families throughout the St. Louis area. They interact directly with these organizations and community partner members to help facilitate science events and activities.

For more information, visit the YES website at www.youthexploringscience.com or make a gift now and select Youth Exploring Science.

Each year the Saint Louis Science Center offers Science Blast Day Camps. These camps are stimulating science sessions for children aged 4-16, led by highly trained counselors and designed to engage children in science learning.

In an effort to make our camps accessible to children of a variety of backgrounds and experiences, the Science Center offers a limited number of scholarships, awarded to campers based on demonstrated need.
